The UP Board has shattered a century-old record by declaring the results of 10th and 12th exams within just 67 days. The high school category has 179 students in the top-10, whereas the intermediate category has 253 students in the top-10 list. Notably, 432 students have secured a top-10 position in both exams combined. The pass percentage for high school and intermediate students stands at 89.78% and 75.12%, respectively. CM Yogi has extended his congratulations to all the successful students and announced the felicitation of those who have secured a top-10 position at the state and district levels.

The results of UP Board’s high school and intermediate exams were announced on Tuesday by Director of Secondary Education Council Mahendra Dev and Secretary Dibyakant Shukla. Priyansi Soni from Sitapur topped the high school category by scoring 590 marks out of 600, while Shubh Chhapra from Mahoba secured the first position in the intermediate category with 489 marks out of 500. Secretary Dibyakant Shukla highlighted that the board has achieved a remarkable feat by declaring the results in just 67 days, setting a record in the history of 100 years. The Board of Secondary Education was established in 1921, and since then, it has been declaring the results in the shortest possible time. In 2019, the results were announced on April 27, which was the shortest time taken until this year. However, this year’s results were declared in just 67 days, despite the exams starting after February 16.
